Black Girls in Boardrooms’ content, trainings, workshops, etc. cover a wide range of topics but ultimately are curated to provide a safe space for Black women and girls, seeking personal and professional development, to receive the necessary - but often times inaccessible - resources, training and development, and network to be successful. Through our efforts, we hope to inspire and empower a generation of Black, female leaders.
Development Series - College & Early Career
Black Girls in Boardrooms Development Series’ are curated to jumpstart the next generation of leaders’ personal and professional development journeys, combining facilitated group development trainings, panels, workshops, and case studies with one-on-one mentorship and coaching, in the five core areas of Leadership, Communication, Self-Preservation, Business Acumen, and Ethics.

Leadership is a skill that gives one the ability to motivate and influence others to take specific action directed at achieving a specific goal.

Communication is the exchange of information between two or more individuals; effective communication is a skill that allows one to effectively share information accurately, clearly and as intended.

Self-preservation refers to the act of keeping one’s self alive, healthy, and free from harm by establishing and maintaining boundaries in all areas of life to prevent mental, physical, and emotional depletion.

Acumen refers to one's ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions. Business acumen deals with the ability to successfully understand and solve business problems.

Ethics refers to the moral principles by which we conduct ourselves and a foundation for which soundness and decision making rests upon.
